Background:
Psoriasis is one of the top 10
skin diseases seen in our centre. It is a disease that has
significant physical and psychosocial impact. It is important to have
a clinical measure of the patients improvement in their psoriasis
while attending the clinic. PASI (Psoriasis Area and Severity Index)
is a validated tool for assessing psoriasis severity . A
50% improvement in PASI scores (PASI 50) translates to a meaningful improvement in quality of life of the patients.
